Nam and I have been best good friends since the ripe old age of 12. It's hard to believe so much time has gone by, and now my best buddy is getting married. I am so honored that she and her fiance, Matthew, asked me to
take pictures at their engagement party. I must say, it was probably the most interesting engagement party I've ever been to. It consisted of a ceremony where the groom's family brings gifts (including a whole pig - yum!), proposes marriage to the bride's family, they accept, the couple prays to their ancestors, they drink tea together, he puts jewelry on her, then we all have a cognac toast and feast. It was so hard to choose what photos to put up here since there were so many great pictures, but here are a few for your viewing pleasure.
